The AZPMA 3-Piece LIDAR Mount was designed, engineered, and manufactured 100% in America—right here in Arizona. Precision-machined from billet aluminum, this innovative three-piece mount was built specifically for the BMW 1300 RTP police motorcycle.

The need for a better mounting solution became clear after the BMW 1300 RTP's heat created several challenges with traditional LIDAR mounting locations. Excessive heat could affect and potentially damage LIDAR units while also directing unwanted heat toward the motor officer and back toward the motorcycle's engine area, contributing to overheating warnings and errors.

The AZPMA 3-Piece LIDAR Mount is designed to move the LIDAR unit away from the engine heat ventilation port. By relocating the unit away from this source of excessive heat, the mount helps provide a better environment for both the equipment and the motor officer.

Our mount also relocates the LIDAR unit forward and higher, creating a more natural and comfortable position for motor officers when docking and undocking the LIDAR unit. This improved placement provides easier access and a more ergonomic grasp during daily operation.
